The way women dress IS the business of men other than their husbands and fathers!

In the world we have very beautiful women; although on average most of these women dress in a provocative manner.

We all know the manner.....Skirts and shorts that provide the legs to be miles long and oh so close to a place that shant be mentioned, the shirts that might as well not be, the jeans that provide the perfect silloette of the hind parts and the front parts....Why do they dress this way?

Well, you ask them and they usually say, "It's my body and I have It I am going to flaunt it!"
Well, these are the same women who put more wiggle in the behind whilst walking past men, whom swoon over the attractive sexual attention ect. These are the same women whilst talking with others; will say they want equality with men, they hate the cat calls and the whistles, they hate the men whom look at pornography, they infact detest it.......WHAT IS IT THEY THINK THEY ARE DOING THAT IS SO MUCH BETTER?

When put into context what are other men thinking/secretly lusting about your wife, daughter, sister, mother, aunt, cousin and other women in your life?

What are we enabling those men to think or lust after....... Let's do a check...

  1. How's you shape of your body today?
  2. Is your clothing accentuating your figure?
  3. Is your clothing causing men to draw attention to a particular body part?
  4. For examples: tight pants, skirts, shirts, sweaters, shorts, bathing suits, tight or clining dresses? (For the Record I believe only in Skirts and Dresses but I have put in pants and shorts for those whom are not yet convicted in this area!)

"For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies..." ~Matthew 15:19~

"But I say unto you, That whosever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath commited adultery with her already in his heart." ~Matthew 5:28~

I believe how "we" as Godly women should care what other men are thinking about what I wear...I do not want men to look at me and lust at any part of my body, I want my husband to be the only one whom looks to me with love, intimacy and longing, and only to be shared between husband and wife in the privacy of their bedrooms.

"Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers. Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man." ~Isaiah 47:2-3~

I do not want to be part of the Unisex aspect of modern fashions I want to be a God Fearing Woman!

"Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of paiting the hair, and of wearing gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the Hidden man of the heart, in that which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being subjection unto their own husbands."~1 Peter 3:3-5~

I want to be a women of a meek and quiet spirit, I want to be a woman whom does not wear immodest attire, A woman whom goes out of the way in order to avoid even the appearance of evil.

"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil."

~ 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22~

I want to be a woman whom does not want to offend anyone or cause others to stumble or fall.

"But take heed lest by any means this liberty yours become a stumbling block to them that are weak...Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend." ~1 Corinthians 8:9, 13~

My dear sister in Christ how are other men seeing you today? A woman's attitude toward these things reveals her spiritual condition. How's yours today?

Thank you for reading,

I got the Idea for this post from an article written by David W. Cloud titled "Are men lusting after your wife or daughter?" and I wrote this post from my own personal opinion.
