Set Apart From the World.

And be not conformed to this world:but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Romans 12:2-3

As followers of God, we are to be set apart from the world, not like it, I am not higher then you in christian living , nor are you then a poor lost person. there is one thing that makes us all the same, we are all sinners

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Yet while we were sinners Christ died for us. so why should we rebel against him, he has done so much for us, and do we thank him enough? can he ever be thanked enough for giving his life for ours?

while we parade around in the Lords house in shameful attire, are you pleasing the Lord? certainly not. I feel you should dress to please and glorify him, not only in his house, but to be a example everywhere else, to show people you ARE different not of this Fleshly fashion, but of Godly fashion, that is not your body, it is Gods temple, how might you treat Gods temple? we all sin, but knowingly sinning is worse.

knowing that what you wear does not please the Lord, knowingly dressing in immodest attire that will cause a brother to stumble, that my dear friend, is shameful.

when you get dressed tomorrow dear sister, what will you wear? will you wear something.
that pleases God? something that will set you apart from the world? something that's not attention grabbing?

please remember this following verse whether you are married or not.
Proverbs 12:4 A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is a rottenness to his bones.

That verse my dear friend, is meant for Husbands and Fathers, do you want your Husband or Father to be ashamed of you?

as you pick your clothing for the day, ask yourself this question are you setting yourself apart from the world? or blending in with it?
