Capture the Moment Photography. By Miss Katelyn S

A little bit about her blog/ Her goal: 1.) be a witness somehow for my viewers that are not Christians, 2.) I want to be in inspiration for other photographers, and for other Christians as well, if I possibly can, and 3.) I enjoy having my blog in a way as a journal. It's kind of like an escape to just write and a scrapbook of all my memories to look back over. But most of all, I want to show glory to God's name throughout my blog, and I want to be a light in Christ.

How Long it's been running: July 2010.

Where Have All The Ladies Gone..... Part 2.

In my last post, some of my readers were might I say, steamed about the post.

I want to clarify.

That in women working, I am not talking about teens (Unmarried) and older ladies or the widowed.
But ladies that have children not married off yet.

Neglecting...

There is a very high source of neglecting, when women go out and work and leave their children.
Such as sending children to public or private schools. Is there really a need to send your children their? to endure the torture from other kids.
Children and even teens have a problem saved and not. to make fun of children when they have glasses, or a unique feature.
So why if you care for them put them through it?
Whether it be that you "want" to go out and work, or that you need to. Is indeed 2 different situations in itself.
To me, and this is only my opinion.
A mother cannot go out and work, and still have time.

Is there a source of happiness? in leaving your children?
I;m in no way trying to say that women are cavemen.
As I said before. I'm not talking about older women widows, or women that have no children that are little.
I'm talking about women, that have children, and send them OFF to school. While the husband stays home wife goes out. ITS NOT BIBLICAL!

When the Virtuous woman went out and bought land. She did not go out and claim it! she didn't say "oh this is mine, I made something of myself, I'm my own woman, this isn't my husbands at all. I did this!"

Going out and working was the virtuous woman did. Was NOT her career! Serving the Lord taking care of and raising her children and caring for her husband.

Someone may say today. She was a doormat.
That's not the case.

In the bible it does not say anything about women working and leaving children and husbands. to fend for themselves.
She does not have the right to take authority, being when she goes out and works. She's taking authority.

Now Ladies. In no way, IF you are currently working, or feel offended. Please this is ONLY my opinion.

Thank you Ladies.
In His Honor.
Katie.

Where Have All The Ladies Gone?

Where have all the ladies gone? into our local grocery stores, onto the construction sites, into our police cars and into burning houses.

behind our pulpits. . . .

Spreading across our nation and world like a deadly flu.

Taking authority into hands and leaving biblical womanhood behind.

What a sad day we live in, where a woman would rather go out and fight a war or arrest somebody, build a house or preach (Note to readers this does not mean spreading the gospel which is right for ALL to do, this means preaching behind a pulpit.) then to have children and take care of them, and her husband, but does she take care of her husband? certainly not. Women of today have taken a height role of authority, fighting wars and preaching.

A fine job of such, leaving thoughts of children in the dust, off to business like jobs, I feel in my opinion, that you can have a career, it's called raising children! a fine career that is!

But of course, for some women, and notice I use the word women, because I feel that these females that go out and work do not have the title of "Lady" For some women that would be the end of life, a waste. . . . Some ladies feel differently. Being a wife and homemaker would bring no greater joy to me (Job wise.)

But women have it in their little heads that women have to make something of themselves in life, and being a housewife is not.

Sadly enough the title "Mr Mom" is used frequently in today's society. While the woman goes out and works the husband would stay home and care for the children, clearly in that situation the woman would be "Wearing the Pants"

When does it stop? shall it ever? With people using "so called bibles" that free them of many of Gods commandments and even edit the word of God so they may get away with sin, it shall never.

The Virtuous Woman worked.

Prov. 31:13-16
She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

God provided her with strength..

Prov. 31:17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.

By her candle not going out, she was deeply in prayer EVERY night, even when life was good.
Prov. 31:18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

Not greedy.

Prov. 31:20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

The Virtuous woman was most definitely a lady.

Don't we all strive to be like her? though sometimes we get caught up with life it feels like it will never be possible. It is!

Let's see our keys in the Virtuous woman.

Her husband trusted her. Prov. 31:11

She was not lazy. Prov 31:16

She prayed. Prov. 31:18

She was not greedy. Prov. 31: 20

She had wisdom and she was kind. Prov: 31:26

She looked after her household. She did not rely on her house maidens to do everything. Prov. 31: 27, 15

1Chro.16:29
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Blessings,
Katie

Don't Wait to Share the Gospel.

Many of you do not know me personally, some of you may know what I'm talking about, and some of you won't.

I'm very young, my age is unknown to most of you, but that does not stop me from writing from my heart.
I went to a funeral of a very dear very loved close *person I have known all my life* I am not disclosing the denomination she belonged to, but as most of you know I'm a IB and KJV only, I had never been to this denominations church, but a hint, we believe VERY different from them. as I sat through the service I tried not to cry. But eventually tears filled my eyes as they talked of many things, but most of all when they brought her in.

Seeing everyone's eyes filled with tears and sorrow. *A note to readers she was not saved..to say the least*
All that ran through my head was if only I could have got to her sooner...in her denomination she was very strong...and unwilling to be changed of her beliefs and religion choice...

What ran through my mind over and over again...as I sat there and cried..if only I could have saved her..if only I could have tried harder...

This kindled a flame that burned for the rest of the day on through as I write this, a flame and a desire stronger then I had before. That I have a desire to share and to tell ladies my story of how God has helped me.

I know now though it was kind of weird being in *this certain denominations church* as they believe much different then I myself. Is though they take so many people in, I want to make a difference...I don't want Satan to get anymore of my family, my friends, or the people around this earth.

Can you make a difference?
can anyone share the gospel? Yes everyone can share the gospel.

Jesus may come any day now ladies, so do not and I stress this, DO NOT wait to share the gospel with loved ones, you never know what will happen, not everyone lives to be over 100.
So please don't hesitate, don't wait.
Tell them about whose in your heart.
Before you cannot. Please pray before you choose to share the gospel.

Thank you for reading.
Blessings,
Katie

Love, Modesty and the Wiles of the Devil.....

Love is an action word. Love is in the way someone puts others above all else. Their Selfish desires fall to the way side and stay still. The Lord gives us clear and precise examples of what love was created for.

"Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law." ~ Romans 13:10~

Colossians 3:12-17

 12Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

13Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."

The enemy teaches man about the fleshy, selfish love that our society is immersed in nowadays. The enemy is crafty and decieves each of us if we let him.
"4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God" ~ 2 Timothy 3:4~
"24And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them." ~Matthew 4:24~
"6Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner." Proverbs 13:6~

Did you know that you are able to cast out the demons that haunt over and hover us in our day to day comings and goings. Did you know that there are ways we can thwart him off and rebuke his lies?
"
20And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
~Romans 16:20~

"8And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:" John 16:8~

20So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed ~Acts 19:20~

10Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
~Matthew 4:10~

You see this is why it is so important for us as women, as daughters of Christ to read and memorize the scriptures as it is written. When we hide the word of the Lord in our hearts we fill it up so that the Enemy has no room to get in. Which also means he has no way of getting to you, enticing you and fooling you into believing his ways are the ways in which you shall go.
You see, with every good intention man falls into the ploys of the Enemy in their walk with Christ and the Enemy fools us to believing that we are doing it in the name of God.
The more you know the WORD the less likely of Satan re wording, re organizing, re facing the Truth and the less likely you will fall into his crafty games of selfishness, lust, perversion, un healthness!

We as women seek God so passionatley, so enthusiastically that the enemy can utilize this and fool us into believing that we can move out of our God created roles as women and still be happy, be successful be all in one. God created us for a reason and a purpose, in order for us to truly know what that is we must know what He says. To do this we must read, memorize and be able to fellowship with others and sharpen ourselves in knowing why, how and where in the Bible we live our lives. You are a testimony, every minute, every second, every word, every action, every article of clothing is your testimony.

Are you being led by the flesh in your life? or Are you being led by God?
Are you ready to give it all up for God. I mean literally everything! Are you willing to sacrifice your lifestyle, your home, your clothing, your family for God......? What is the meaning of you being on this path to Heaven? Start with Genesis 1:1 and end in Revelation22:21. Know why wearing skirts is what the Lord expects, created us to be! Know why usurping your husbands authority is not what we were created for! Know the anwsers in which you seek. There is no greater self help book that Gods infaillable word...The Bible!

Do not bedecieved my this new generations thoughts and opinions of modesty! Do not be decieved by this new generations idea of how the "family" works more efficiently!
Seek wisdom in the bosom of the Lord.

Thank you for reading,
God Bless!
In Him all is possible,
Stacey

Worldly Distractions. A Post for Teens.

We have all been there. Walking through a store, Flipping through a magazine, Then you see it!
But what? what do you see that distracts you? could it be something you cannot wear? something you wish you could? in the world today we have that problem. Distractions from the world, though we find it hard, we stay strong. As Striving (to be) Godly Young Ladies and Ladies. We have that distraction of pretty patterns a little bit shorter (not mini skirt) of skirts or dresses.

We all have that problem, going into a store and being discouraged, asking yourself "why cant I find anything?"

There is nothing wrong with you of course, it is what is wrong with the world, what we have come to with providing teens with little rags of clothing with sparkles and sequins on it and calling it clothing, calling it trendy, fashionable, the "IT" item of clothing, a must have. These my fellow readers are why we cannot go into stores and find something, yes sometimes in different stores, and yes  in   different parts of the country you can find nice clothing. That is for the wrong price.

Problem: When you can go to a store and get a huge shopping bags for under $150 of the in clothing, but to buy long skirts or modest shirts. You wouldn't even get a half a huge shopping bag....

Sadly some young ladies (No I'm not pointing names) compromise when going to the store or the mall.
Some sadly go and compromise just a little "Oh that skirt is a little short I'll just put some leggings under it" or "that shirt is a bit sheer, but it's okay no one will notice, if I only wear it on certain days"

If it's wrong for your mother it's wrong for you!
Yes, I just said that, you should be able to wear anything your mother wears, not size wise or anything like that, but I'm talking about, those shorter skirts that go to your knees, and those dresses that go to your knees and beyond. Do you think your mother should wear them? Of course not! If you are dressing modest, of course Your mother should be able to wear anything you do correct?

  • Sheer Shirts.
  • Tight Shirts.
  • Skirts that hug the knees.
  • Skirts above the knees.

Skirts That hug the knees....Ah yes, they modest christian young ladies cry for freedom, for normal-ess, and for trendiness. "Maybe no one will think I'm a freak if I dress in this short of a skirt, I can still wear it and be modest." Wrong.

Let me ask you something. Do you really want to be sitting down having to tug at your skirts? what about boys and young men, and ALSO older men as well, looking at your legs?!?! To me that is disgusting, You cannot be Modest and Modern there is no sentence that should ever have those to words right next to each other. Would you really like Men lusting after you?

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Matthew 5:28

Let's not forget.

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body,

that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Romans 6:12

What ladies are doing is lusting after the worldly clothing, imagine if we could buy beautiful dresses and skirts and stores were filled only with dresses and skirts? "Wonderland" right?
Well ladies we cannot have that. The world is getting it's way with sin, provoking the minds of modest young christian shoppers, filling the isles with immodest wear.

Let me tell you something it is better to not buy anything at a store then to waste money and buy a few things, that should not have been bought, I'm not judging you, I'm speaking the clear, the obvious, the truth.
Not to hurt you, not to offend you. To help you!

I'm speaking from a loving point to you, I know what it is like to go into the store and find nothing but clothing I cannot wear, its sad. I want to make a point, I want to stretch the point of not buying something, if its not modest.

I know it will be hard, especially for those of you that are just starting out to wear skirts and dresses. People will look at you, some will give smiles and some will give bad looks, some will be offended, but my advice to you is to stay strong in the Lord. You are supposed to be looking to please the Lord correct? You don't need to please anyone, at your age unmarried. The only one you should be looking to please is the Lord!

You need to be pleasing the Lord, not Men. Do not live for men, live for God. This life is going to get you down, Stay Strong.

This Post is dedicated to all the girls that have trouble finding modest clothing, to all the girls that are new to wearing dresses and skirts only.

Blessings,
Katie

Day 29-30 A few verses of Thankfulness.

Psalm 95:1-6

O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

Psalm 107

O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

1 Chronicles 29:11-13

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all.
Wealth and honor come from you;
you are the ruler of all things.
In your hands are strength and power
to exalt and give strength to all.
Now, our God, we give you thanks,
and praise your glorious name."

I'm thankful For my Lord my Saviour who saved me by grace.

Day 28! My Lord Fainteth Not! :-)

I'm thankful for my family, and close friends, in this time of gratitude. I left mine hands up and praise my Lord for all he has given me!

Which reminds me of a Psalm.

Psalm 121

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Isaiah 40:28-31

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Only 10 day's left, are you ready?

Hard to believe it's already this time of season, cooler weather (sometimes cold!!) but through it all I'm thankful, no matter what trials are in my life, what storm cloud is raining down on me, I cannot complain, there is always, ALWAYS something to be thankful for!

Some of the simple things in life the little things, are things that at moments of hard aches, can warm our hearts.

I want to thank you all for reading my blog, today I'm Thankful for you!
What are you thankful for?

Day 19.

As I get ready for church, I think to myself.

What is going to church? it is not about fellowship, or about getting dressed up, (though we really should)
It's about getting into God's word learning of new things, new lessons, new trials set before us.
Prayer, is something so very important to me. You cannot just pray, of course we have to be into God's word to fully get something (something you maybe didn't understand before.)

I'm Thankful for Church. :-)

What Are you thankful for?

Day 18 When You Look out Your Window What Do You See?

Today is Saturday, and what a beautiful Saturday it is, I cannot express how thankful I am. I am blessed to be able to look out my window and see Beauty out my window with soft colors of Orange and Yellow and Red!

The Leaves moving across the ground as the wind sweeps them away. it's all so beautiful.

But as I end this post, I want to know, when you look outside your window, what do you see?
I see the beauty God has provided for me and everyone to see.

Blessings,
Katie

Thankful For Those Who Are Serving.

Picture by Kass Photography. Please do not take without permission.

Today, I am thankful for our brave soldiers that are fighting for our freedom. As I sit here in a desk chair, I sit here full of thankfulness and gratitude towards our brave hero's that fight day and night, that leave their families behind for sometimes several months on in.

What I am trying to say cannot be expressed, how could you or how do you express gratitude for that?

If your reading this and you know of someone in our armed forces someone such as a family member or a friend, take a moment to pray for them, be thankful not only today for our soldiers but everyday they risk their lives.

A special thank you to our soldiers and their families. A moment of remembrance for the ones we have lost after or in the battle. You are not forgotten.

Blessings,
Katie

Content In Christ. Part 1

Are you Content in Christ? many of you would say "Of Course" "Yes!!" or something like that, but I want to take you deeper into that question.

The word "Content" looked up in the Websters 1828
CONTENT, a. [L., to be held; to hold.] Literally, held, contained within limits; hence, quiet; not disturbed; having a mind at peace; easy; satisfied, so as not to repine, object, or oppose.

CONTENT, v.t.

1. To satisfy the mind; to make quiet, so as to stop complaint or opposition; to appease; to make easy in any situation; used chiefly with the reciprocal pronoun.

Do not content yourselves with obscure and confused ideas, where clearer are to be obtained.

Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas. Mark 15.

2. To please or gratify.

It doth much content me, to hear him so inclined.

Are you satisfied? here are a few verses I have found.
Philippians 4:11
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

1 Timothy 6:8
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

Hebrews 13:5
Let your conversation be without covetousness and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

3 John 1:10
Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.

We have to ask ourselves a personal question, and be honest with ourselves, "am I content with Christ?"
If not we need to make it where we are. How do you go about doing that?
You always here, "you need to read your bible and pray" and that's all that is said? well, to be truthful that's what needs to happen, For the well being of you.

Part 2 Coming soon.

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him. ~James 1:12~

What happens then Lord, when my circumstances change....? What happens when you move me and I do not know where or how the Word lives in me.....? I can honestly admit that sometimes I am overwhelmed and exhausted. I can honestly admit that following you in the way you have shown is is not easy. It is so hard, sometimes I faulter from your way, when I want to fall to the wayside.....

Then Lord, in the quiet moments when I am still, when I am silent, when I am in the middle of the depth of the enemies game of sorrow....

You come to me. You fill me with your love. You reward me for the choices I have made. Even when I feel the enemies darkness envelope me and covers me. It is like when I get to the bottom of what I think is never ending darkness you open the clouds and through the haze a ray of light comes through. This light is brighter than any light my eyes have seen. This light is so warm, but not a burn, a warmth that melts me from the depths of my soul and fills my earthly body in every inche!

You know me. You love me. You carry me when I am unable to go on.

Being a daughter of Christ is not easy but it is what you command. Being a lady of Christ is what we are called to do...

But in the world we live in it is so hard, the persecution is not what I can handle, the strength of me alone is not good enough.

This world that I live in is cruel and mean, it is a world where the enemie is creating his realm. I feel that it is getting worse and worse...

Thankfully, I do not live, walk, talk, dress, parent, be a wife, a friend, a mentor, a woman who must work for her family to eat, a mother, a daughter, a granddaughter, a neice, a cousin, a woman bymyself.

Thankfully, of these things I must, have to , want to , need to do, I do with your hand on my life. I do these with you carry the real heaviness that I will not know of until I meet with You. I do these things for the love of You. I do these things for the Heavenly Home. I do these things for The Lord my God whom shed His very own for my Salvation.

Yes, modesty is not easy! Yes, living Your Word is not easy! Yes, walking side by side with those hate You, is not easy!

Yes, I will be a modesty woman, raise my family in Your word, walk side by side with those who Hate you!

Because I am called to go out into the world and be Your Light. And if I am able to give one person or thousands Your love and they share it with others then I am doing Your work.

I am blessed to be persecuted. I am blessed to be hated. I am blessed to be in hardship. I am blessed to be a daughter of Christ.

“In prayer, something like an echo takes place. When you strike a note on the piano, corresponding strings in all the other pianos in the room start to vibrate. It is just the same when we express a pure wish in our ardent prayers: all around us we mobilize angels who are inspired by the same wish.” —Richard Wurmbrand

Thank you for joining me in my journey with the Lord,

In Him all is possible,

Stacey

Day 3!

I'm Thankful that God provides, and that he keeps his promises, I've learning as the years go by, that his words are more meaningful, but of course, that is due to getting wiser, ;-)

I'm also thankful that he can ease our troubles, all we have to do is come to him.

Day 2!

My, My, time sure does fly by way too fast...I was thinking about that yesterday, as I stood at our kitchen window staring at all the leaves falling in the wind.

I'm thankful for family, some that understand that people change.

most of all I'm thankful for my Lord, how he can work wonders on someone, how when and if we are doing something wrong, even not realizing it, he let's us know, it stops us in our tracks.

I'm thankful for the beautiful color he provides for my eyes to see, everyday.

Blessings,
Katie

Guest Post.

Ladies,

Just keeping it simple.... As I sat here pondering what to write, once my fingers started, it all became very clear and second nature.

It's often very confusing and disturbing to me to see the way young girls, teenage girls, young women and even some older women are dressing. I don't buy the, "they don't know any better" story. I think it's more or less that they just don't care. Wanting to be a part of the popular crowd or being accepted by your peers should only be YOU being who you really are without all the false pretenses. If the people around you aren't accepting you for that, then you really should ask yourself if you need them in your life anyway.

I've heard different reasoning for the way some dress. Some flat out think it's cute. Some say they want the attention, but do you really want all of the attention you may get? Not all attention is good. What happens when you get the attention of some pervert or unstable individual and they act out based on the way you dressed has made them feel? It may not be what you intended at all (in your mind) but, the reality of it all is that you have no control over what someone else thinks.

Then, it's too little, too late when something bad happens. I think as a society, we have become really lax. Everyone wants to take religion out of the schools, the workplace....their life. There is no choice but God, and the sooner we realize that, the better we will be as a whole. People walk around on eggshells instead of talking to someone about a certain situation and the most important topic, religion. They fear what the other person may think or say. I think we need to be more involved with one another.....help one another, talk to each other, be there to listen and direct each other when someone is not going down the right path. Instead, we sit back and talk about them amongst ourselves instead of trying to talk to them. How can we get better as a people if we continue with this mindset? Remember, reach one~teach one~

Thanks for reading....Jocelyn

Too Far From The Truth.

Sometimes, we often face life's struggles and all by ourselves, without even thinking, face them head on.
thinking we can do it on our own, but that's far from the truth.
I know from experience, that facing troubles by yourself, is impossible, living life by yourself, is impossible,
that doesn't mean you can't walk by yourself, but it wants to walk alone? when you could be walking with God?

but sometimes, yes sometimes again, we are stubborn, I know I am sometimes, I don't know if you are, but it's hard when you want something so much to happen, but it doesn't always go as planned, but guess what, I have learned, and you can too! there's a brighter side, yes there sure is, though it's hard to accept, the things you wanted to happen didn't, at that point, now it's time to pray and ask God to show you where you will go next, and how you will get there, to ask him to change you for his plan, his will...

I find it best, that everything always churns out better if I'm as close to God as possible, I feel the most safe at that point, who wouldn't?

Now Ladies, to the point in out blog, is that all? certainly not.  let's go on!

Life's Struggles.....
Are Life's struggles getting at you? not enough money? kids being so hard to manage? schooling? cooking, and more?
are the tugging at you? of course some things too, but as always being enough said, Life is Not Easy. it was never meant to be. you can of course make it easier, but not by yourself. what do you have to do you ask?
Go and Pray. Ask God to make things easier on you, to help you,

I know a woman, she's married, but she has no time to read the bible? to my shock, I replied how can you not have time for God and the Bible? she said she's always too busy.

saddened, I walked away, not knowing what to say, how she couldn't make time for the bible, it then struck me, that that must be why she was having many of life's struggles getting to her.

no matter how busy I am, I know when I am burdened, there's only one thing I can do, and that's pray.
too often we move too far from the truth, and think we can handle life's hard ache on our own, we rely too much on a a spouse or a friend, and not at all on God like we should. is it that we don't trust God enough to take care of us?

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

sometimes, we want, what we want, now, we don't want to wait, for God's answer. in reality, we are already too blind too see what God is trying to show us, whether it be his will or something else.

No one eats soup with a fork, just like you cannot live life without God, and believe me it won't take long for conviction to get at you, you will in fact know, that you need to get right with God.

in James chapter 1 we learn that if we lack wisdom, that we are supposed to ask God.

James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him

If you are having problems, with money or simply life, Pray, and ask,

Matthew 21:22

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

whatever life is throwing at you, just remember, you can pray..which reminds me of one of my favorite songs.

I can Pray until the walls come down,
                                                   Till there's healing all around,
                                                   That's something I can do,
I can Pray in my secret place,
                                                   Calling out your name,
                                                     That's something I can do,
                                                      I can pray.

in conclusion, I hope that in some way I have helped you.

Thank You For Reading.

Being Modest Through Christ.

Ladies, we live in a world, where many women, and sadly even younger girls, dress inappropriately, to school and in public, you may say "that's terrible, they should put some clothes on"

But do you ever ask yourself, do they know any better? have they ever been taught?
are they having emotional problems? do they dress like this for the attention they don't get normally?
we Tend to judge to quickly to actually see beyond the book cover, then ladies, their are the young girls and women alike, who know what they are wearing, don't care how they have been taught, and know better, the young girls, that are hiding emotional problems, and whether they dress like that for attention or not, it doesn't matter.

Ladies need to stand up, for a rightful cause, stand up to this so called "fashion" of tank tops and short skirts and shorts, cleavage baring blouses and "hip clothing" I don't care what's "in" or what's considered old fashioned, I dress not to say "I'm modest" but to tell myself, "I'm pleasing the Lord with all my heart" and ladies, by no means is that bragging,
I do it because I want to strive to be pleasing God, and I want to strive to let others see Christ in me.

after all, ladies, we should strive, but that's my opinion, I'm not throwing it at you.

Defenceless....
Sometimes we all feel that way, as if everyone is bullying at you, telling you that your going to (hades) if you wear pants, what can you say? how can you defend yourself? your Defenceless.

I believe in my opinion, that it is YOUR  conviction, on what you wear.
Yours alone, people can sometimes, dig it and stab it into you about the skirts and pants argument.
But the only one that can change your mind, is God.

Yes Ladies it's as simple as that, we can write these blogs, but it most likely will not change it, I myself, read a blog post about wearing pants, and I was convicted over that, which is why when I say, when Conviction gets you, your done.

Sister, if you are struggling, with the choice of what to wear, if you are caught between being cool or ugly, if your afraid people will look at you differently, please, take time to ask yourself this question, "is this what God wants?" or is it "what you and everyone else want." sometimes what seems good in our eyes, isn't really all that good, we are just too blind too see at the moment.

I pray that if you are having those struggles that God helps you, and gives you an answer to the questions and pleads you have been praying for or about. I pray he lays the right choice on your heart, and that it brings you closer to him, that when you walk down the street or through a store, that people see Christ in you.

I Love you all dearly. Thank you for reading.

In His Honor.
Katie.

Losing to The World at Hand? Losing Motherhood.

As we do our daily activities or chores, or even school, life as we know it is one busy day after day activity.
some things we do are more important then others, for instance Facebook? FoxNews? Yahoo. all Our Favorite sites. the list goes on and on. we make sure we get on those, we make sure our favorite things are done.

  • Sewing.
  • Reading the Bible.

what happened? some of you may still or do those things. but what is the rest of the world doing? should you care? since the dawn of time Mothers have taught their girls, and prepared them to be home makers, stay at home wives. that was their desire. now women have chosen a different path, the following is from life123.com. the Top 10 most popular jobs for women.

it's sad that you don't see stay at home mother, or housewife there.
we have young ladies growing up, without being taught how to be housewives,

Will you be one of the women, to serve God biblically? or will you fall and lose to the world at hand,

I pray God gives you strength, this world is tough, but with God we can make it through.

Children miss out on so much, when they don't have mothers caring for them each and everyday, providing them with love, and motherly affection, when you work, you're punishing your child, emotionally.

I don't know what your thoughts on this are, but I cannot and would not ever think of being a career woman and not a stay at home mother. I wouldn't ever dream of it. it's always been my dream.

instead of saying I want to be a business woman, or a doctor, or a mail woman, I wanted to be a "Mommy" that was my ideal dream and it still is.

Thank you for reading.
